Duckfactory Game Review — What To Do There?

DuckFactory is an online strategy game that is both Play-to-Reach and Free-to-Play. It features charming collectible NFT ducklings and has a tokenized economy. Players can construct a fortress for their ducks and participate in high-energy PvP battles against other ducks.

The game’s economy is based on players’ accomplishments in accomplishing goals, and enthusiastic players can reap rewards with real market value.

Gameplay

Battle level

To increase their battle level, players are required to accumulate points by winning battles. Whenever a player emerges victorious from a battle, they receive battle points, which contribute to their overall score.

Conversely, losing a battle will result in the player losing battle points, potentially causing them to drop to a lower battle level. Once a player has accumulated a substantial amount of battle points, they will enter “promotion” mode.

During this mode, the player’s next 5 battles will determine whether they are eligible for a battle-level upgrade. To be promoted, the player must win at least 3 out of these 5 battles.

Tournaments

Monthly tournaments will be open to all ducks in the game, regardless of their rarity and battle level. The tournament will span the entirety of the month and will revolve around battles, with players being awarded cups for each victory.

However, if they lose a battle, they will lose some cups, although their total number of cups cannot go below zero. At the end of the month, the cups won by each duck will be added up, and the top-performing players will be granted generous rewards. Following the tournament’s conclusion, all ducks’ cup tallies will be reset.

NFTs

The game features NFTs/ducks referred to as Battle Ducks, which serve as adorable and exclusive digital companions that exist and engage in combat on the blockchain. Their purpose is to accompany players on their exciting journeys and aid them in earning significant rewards through battles.

These Battle Ducks can be obtained in several ways, such as by hatching eggs, purchasing them from other players on the market, obtaining them from exceedingly rare mystery boxes, or receiving them at no cost if the player is a non-NFT user.

Duckling types

The game features two types of ducks: NFT ducks and non-NFT ducks. NFT ducks are collectible and stored on the blockchain, each possessing a unique identity that sets them apart from others in the cryptocurrency world. As a result, they cannot be replicated, deleted, or destroyed. Using an NFT duck in battles significantly increases the likelihood of earning rewards.

On the other hand, non-NFT ducks are provided to players who don’t wish to invest in the game. These ducks are given to players for free and function similarly to NFT ducks on the battlefield.

However, they are not as valuable, and their rarity and reward potential are limited. Additionally, non-NFT ducks cannot be sold on the market as they do not possess a unique identity on the blockchain that would make them valuable.

Economy

Duckfactory employs a player-driven economy model in which players produce all of the assets required to participate in the game. The game’s economy is sustained by the time and effort that players invest in generating these assets, as well as a consistent cash flow from market activity fees for items such as NFTs and exceedingly rare items with precisely calibrated reward outflows.

Players can engage with both the market and the game by utilizing the Duckfactory token ($DUCK), which can be acquired in a variety of ways. This token can be earned by completing quests, participating in staking pools, or selling NFTs and in-game items.

Earning

The estimated return on investment cannot be determined due to various factors, including the NFT prices set by the players. The primary source of profit in this player-driven economy is through playing and winning games, which generates NFTs that can be sold to other players.

Additionally, all the assets required for game interaction are created and exchanged by the players themselves.

Overview

In general, I found the concept behind Duckfactory to be very appealing. Although it’s currently impossible to estimate potential earnings, I still believe that the game has a lot of potential and appears to be a very compelling and captivating experience.
