Illuvium Zero Season1 is now live! Let’s dive into it

Illuvium Zero has entered Season One of its Alpha test, providing players in Illuvium with the initial chances to play and earn. Within Illuvium, players can encounter Illuvial Biodata, unveil blueprints derived from that data, and subsequently create minted blueprints for later utilization in the Illuvium Overworld.

The latest update of Illuvium Zero marks the introduction of Alpha 2.0 and the commencement of Season One gameplay. This particular season holds significance as it grants players the opportunity to discover and mint blueprints for the first time!

The entirety of the game data has been completely erased, necessitating that all players commence their base building endeavors anew, starting from scratch.

In order to reach the stage where they can create blueprints, players must focus on constructing and expanding their base. Essential structures, such as the Singularity Scanner for locating Illuvial biodata, the Data Bank for storing discoveries, and the Materials Lab for blueprint production attempts, will be necessary. These advanced buildings will demand players to invest a considerable amount of time into playing the game.

Towards the conclusion of Season One, a designated minting window will be unveiled, enabling players to mint a maximum of 15 blueprints per land plot. These blueprints will serve their purpose in the future, as players will utilize them to craft items for utilization within the Illuvium Overworld.

Access to Illuvium Zero remains exclusive to land owners at present. Players have the opportunity to acquire land plots through the IlluviDex platform, with the current minimum price being slightly above $500 USD.

Gameplay

Illuvium Zero revolves around the core elements of base building, resource extraction, and blueprint creation. Players are presented with the choice of focusing on producing Fuel, which serves as a power source for players in the Illuvium Overworld, gathering resources to expand and craft various items, or generating blueprints specifically designed for crafting NFT skins for both the Overworld and the Arena.

Within Illuvium Zero, there exist three distinct categories of Elements and three corresponding types of Fuel resources. The rarity of each plot determines the number of resource sites it contains. Certain plots may also possess Landmarks that impact the production of specific Elements or Fuel resources. While owning a plot specializing in a particular resource type may offer advantages in certain aspects, possessing diverse types of resource sites aids in resource conversion. Players make use of Elements and Fuel for purposes such as item production, building upgrades, and research. Research endeavors unlock opportunities for the creation of blueprint NFTs, which will ultimately be utilized in crafting skins for other Illuvium games.

In Illuvium Zero, players are presented with a multitude of strategic options and decisions. From the placement of buildings, where certain combinations yield better results while others may not, to efficient resource management, navigating the markets, and conducting research on Illuvials for blueprint acquisition, every decision holds significant importance and serves as a crucial turning point in the game.

Upon its launch, Illuvium Zero will provide players with a free-to-play option. However, it’s important to note that players who do not own any land will not have the ability to extract tokens or NFTs from the game. Additionally, while it is claimed that land management can be achieved with just a few minutes each day, it is reasonable to assume that those who dedicate more time to meticulous micro-management will likely experience more favorable outcomes and results.
