The web3 gaming world is abuzz with major developments and exciting new opportunities across several highly anticipated titles. Let’s dive into the latest updates from Illuvium, Guild of Guardians, and Knights of The Ether.

Illuvium Kicks Off New Beta Test with $25M Airdrop Pool

Illuvium, is gearing up for a new beta test phase, offering players a chance to share in a massive $25,000,000 airdrop pool. Not everyone will gain access to this beta, but interested participants can apply for the opportunity.

Registrations for Private Beta 4 are now open, marking the start of Illuvium’s official “Play-2-Airdrop” campaign. During this phase, players can earn their first allocation from a staggering pool of 200,000 ILV tokens, currently valued at over $20,000,000.

To register, players must set up an Immutable X Passport on the Testnet, a straightforward process involving logging in with an Apple ID, Google Account, or personal email. Once registered, participants will be ready to jump into the Private Beta 4 Testnet, scheduled to begin on April 30th.

Guild of Guardians Launches Web3 Regional Test

Guild of Guardians, the highly anticipated auto-battler with play-to-earn elements on the Immutable protocol, has launched its web3 regional test in Canada, Australia, and Indonesia. This milestone also marks a significant step forward in the gaming world, allowing players to use their Guardian NFTs in-game.

During this test phase, players can experience the integration of Founders, Core 1, and Gen 1 Guardian NFTs into the game. While features like minting, burning, metadata changes, and token rewards are not yet available, players can provide valuable balance feedback on the Founder Guardians.

But those without Guardian NFTs can participate as well by purchasing Prayers from Eri’s Store, summoning Guardians through the Altar of Sacrifice, or acquiring NFTs from secondary marketplaces like TokenTrove.

Guild of Guardians is set for a global launch on May 15th, and players can pre-order now to prepare for the highly anticipated release.

Knights of The Ether Hosts Lucrative Tournament

Knights of The Ether, the popular blockchain game, has launched a thrilling tournament running from April 17th to April 27th. Players can compete daily in Top Score and Speedrun Leaderboards for a chance to win a share of 1,200 Loot Boxes.

The tournament features 10 days of individual leaderboards on 10 challenging maps, reset every day at 16:00 UTC. Participants must first register, and the top 50 players on each leaderboard will receive chests containing various rewards, including Legendary, Epic, Rare, and Uncommon Loot Boxes.

In addition to the tournament, Knights of The Ether has implemented several new features, including bug fixes, a battle pass (with a free and paid version), and a blacksmith system for upgrading items.
