Getting Started
Now, let’s start from the beginning. The tutorial land is the same, just follow the old man’s instructions to go on and get to the main hub of Terravilla. As a new player you can start doing your quests there going from one place to another. Or you can skip this part and get straight to the main activities, such as farming, cutting trees, etc and selling it all for gold (in-game currency) or pixel (the actual Pixels’ crypto currency).
Tokenomics Changes
Before the updates there were 2 real currencies, berry and pixel. Both are based on cryptocurrencies, so you could actually buy popberry seeds for $BERRY, grow on your farm and sell them for an actual crypto. Now it’s more complicated to earn in-game currency, because you can’t actually sell anything.
How To Earn $PIXEL
There is a new way for you all to earn $PIXEL tokens. You need to complete orders in Buck’s galore general store. Just come to Hasel and click on their task board. There are 8-10 orders that changes after 5 minutes after you complete it. You can get more orders after buying Pixels’ vip membership.
These orders give you in-game gold mostly to buy the ingredients in the store, but you can still earn pixels for more complicated orders that require game knowledge, like 8 muckchucks. You can learn what muckchuck is and what you need to make 1 muckchuck from Pixels wiki if you’re new to the game. As a new player you don’t have access to the muckchuck seeds because you unlock them at lvl 35 farming skill. Just remember: the more orders you deliver the more tokens you can earn in the future.
Skill To Earn
As you play the game you constantly farm and deliver orders, constantly increasing your farming skill level. You can cook popberry pies to increase your cooking skill, etc. As a new player you start at lvl 0 by default and as the game progresses you increase your skills.
And it’s the only way to earn $PIXEL token now: by progressing in the game, not farming.
